CEFs are chapter restricted funds in the SAM Foundation that provide alumni and friends of a chapter the opportunity to make gifts that are restricted to that chapter. The chapter (in conjunction with alumni) then has access to these funds to support scholarships, educational events on campus, travel costs for SAM leadership programs, improvements to educational space in a chapter house and wifi/internet costs.

Due to a stalled drive to the Michael El-Far scholarship, the donors have discussed and decided the funds can be better served as Scholarships in Michale El-Far's memory to the founding fathers as Rutgers Sigma Delta chapter works to return to campus in 2024
